Our products are made in Saive (Liège) by our production manager Boris. We make it a point of honor to keep the company as close as possible to our raw material producers (sunflower oil) in order to encourage short circuits as much as possible.
Our products are certified organic, biodegradable and made from a maximum of natural raw materials. All controversial substances are, of course, excluded from our production, and the few non-natural raw materials we do use are useful for preserving our soaps and are safe for the body.
Our aim is to develop soaps that are good for your skin and good for the planet!
Boris, our R&D manager, has taken the time to translate the various components of our products for you, so that you can understand all our labels. You can find this glossary here: (refer to the “our formulas” page).
We are available for sale in several stores in Wallonia and Brussels. Find all our retailers here > (return to our retailers page).
Our products are 100% vegan and not tested on animals.
Our products contain essential oils and are therefore not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. However, we have developed a fragrance-free range designed for pregnant or breastfeeding women, babies and people with skin problems.
We take between 2 and 4 days to prepare your orders. Once your parcels have been dispatched, Bpost guarantees a delay of 1 to 3 working days for delivery in Belgium.
Once we have given your parcel to our carrier, you will receive an e-mail with a tracking link for your parcel.
At present, we only deliver to Belgium.
Delivery in Belgium costs €4.99 to a relay point and €6.40, and is free on orders over €50.
If you have a problem with your order (delivery problem or problem with the condition of your products), please contact us by e-mail: info@thegoodsoap.be
When developing our products, we look for the best alternatives to minimize our ecological footprint.
Our hand soaps come in reusable (and recyclable) glass containers.
Our body soaps come in recyclable plastic containers. Glass in the shower or bath can be dangerous if used regularly.
As our products contain essential oils, each scent is recommended for a specific skin type, but all are suitable for all skin types.
fter several months of research, we realized that the solid soap format was an obstacle for a large proportion of consumers. With this in mind, we analyzed the liquid soap market and noticed that few liquid soaps met the same quality standards and values as solid soaps (short circuit, organic, respectful of farmers, etc.).
So we decided to develop a liquid soap that has all the benefits and values of a solid soap.
Our R&D manager, Boris, has developed a glossary to help you understand each of our product components.
